What started out as a chilly and windy day, changed into sunny and beautiful weather for this floral stylized photo shoot at Milburn Orchards in Elkton, Maryland. Grace would have made a picture perfect flower girl in a wedding.
Her floral crown and belt were designed and created with flowers and greens out of my garden including hostas, zinnias, ferns, pompom mums, and buds of rose of sharon. I love the soft golden glow that emanates from these pictures. She was so cute in her dress that was accented in gold sequins. I wanted to bring this element into the flower crown and belt. I also added some lace to round out the vintage feel.
Fall is my favorite time of year. The leaves on the trees are changing colors and there is a crispness in the air. I love the feel of this floral stylized photo shoot at Carousel Park and Equestrian Center. Cassidy and Riley were the perfect little models. Between the white lace and cowboy boots, they captured what makes autumn weddings so incredible.
I adore working in this color palette of reds, oranges, and yellows. It just makes my heart glow. I created floral headpieces and bouquets with a rustic flare that included mums, zinnias, solidago, sedum, nine bark, ivy and seed eucalyptus. I hope that you enjoy these two girls as much as I enjoyed them.
I think that I have an unhealthy obsession with flower crowns. I feel that every flower girl should wear one! What is more adorable than Peyton with her enormous blue eyes?! I absolutely loved photographing her. She told me that she “looked fabulous!” I couldn’t agree more. This flower crown incorporates spray roses, limonium, and seeded eucalyptus.
