I wanted to wish Johnny and Diane a very happy first wedding anniversary! I can’t believe that it has been a year since their rustic country wedding at the Delaware Agricultural Museum in Dover, Delaware.
When I met Diane, she had a binder full of ideas and knew exactly what she wanted for her special day. I still remember when she told me that her wedding colors were burgundy and real tree camo. You don’t hear that everyday! 🙂
I adored the old-time village behind the museum. There was a little white chapel and little wooden houses. It was very picturesque!
Johnny and Diane were married in front of the chapel while the guests sat on hay bales. The aisle was lined with shepard’s hooks with mason jars filled with light and fluffy baby’s breath. The bouquets had baby’s breath with burgundy calla lilies tucked in and were wrapped in twine. My favorite touch was the shotgun shell boutonnieres with baby’s breath.
I loved how all of their family and friends helped set up their ceremony and reception space. I know that this day was filled with many cherished memories. Especially their two adorable daughters as their flower girls!
Congratulations Johnny and Diane! Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day!
My mother-in-laws 70th birthday was last week, and we had her party over the weekend. I created a beautiful floral box full of mums, hydrangea, and alstromeria. Can you tell that she loves purple?!
It reminds me of the first time that I had met her. My husband told me that purple was her favorite color, but I didn’t know that she loved it that much. 🙂 She showed up in a purple convertible, wearing a purple sweater, purse, shoes, and necklace. Whenever I think back to that night, I smile.
My grandmother has been in the hospital for a few days. I brought her this floral arrangement to brighten up her day and give her encouragement to feel better.
Kristin’s bridal shower was like a little touch of springtime in the middle of winter. Coral and peach colors with a rustic touch brought a warmness to this cold weather that we have been having lately in Delaware. The gorgeous Amsterdam roses are from the Cut Flower Exchange. The incredible cake with the rosette details was by Jessica at All About You Custom Cakes. I know from previous experience that her cakes are delicious!
